About the Course

I think the title of this class says it all:) This course will focus on a very important skill in math and in science - the understanding of parts of whole numbers. Topics will include understanding of fractions/decimals, ordering, mixed numbers, converting fractions to decimals and back, as well as math processes with fractions and decimals, adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing. This course is ideal for middle school students who have competency in math processes with whole numbers.

Jeanne Robinson

Dulcinea Stuk is a seasoned math specialist who is extremely passionate about math education. Teaching in and out of the classroom since 2010, Dulcinea focuses on building foundational skills needed for middle school and high school while engaging with material that is interesting and engaging to students. Dulcinea loves math, but also brings their love and curiosity for being outdoors, farming, growing food, and community organizing into the classroom, encouraging students to bring their own passions as well!
