About the Course
This course is an introduction to the main principles of force and motion and will engage students in activities to test and collect data. This course is ideal for middle school students interested in physics. Students will work with potential and kinetic energy, pendulums, balls and ramps, force analysis, data collection and analysis. It will be primarily a hands on class, with approximately 20% lecture/notes, 15% math, 45% activity and 20% data analysis. There will be no homework in this class. Some topics will overlap with the Physical Science and Mechanical Engineering class.
