About the Course
This course will use a favorite toy to explore fundamental principles of engineering and physics. Student will develop problem-solving skills and creativity as they investigate basic mechanics and construction techniques as they foster an appreciation of how things work. Students will build objects, structures and vehicles, and learn how to test their limits. Classes will include working with motors and sensors. There will be both independent work as well as group work. There will be no homework assigned in this class

Elizabeth is very familiar working with home schooled students, having been one herself who attended Cheverly STEM. Elizabeth is in school for Computer Science. In addition to computers, she loves volunteering, weaving, sewing, biking, cooking, writing, drawing, and learning new things.
